NO. 3 LONDON DRY GIN WINS ‘BEST
OVERALL PRODUCT’ AWARD

 Leading UK drinks title, Harpers
Wine & Spirit Trades Review,
has announced the results of its 2011 Design Awards. As well as coming top of
the White Spirit category, No. 3
London Dry Gin scooped the prestigious title of Best Overall Product.

According to the magazine: “Berry
Bros. & Rudd’s No. 3 London Dry Gin had the judges bowled over. Kevin Shaw
said it should win a prize for the box alone – “it’s perfect” – and the
intriguing way it uses the key-shaped hole to draw you into the bottle. It won
top marks all round for the concept, execution and delivery – and that’s
without tasting the gin.”

“The judges were unanimous in singling
out Berry Bros. & Rudd’s first venture into traditional London gin as its
standout design brand. The care, craft and attention to detail that has gone
into the gin has been matched by the bottle and packaging. The key concept has
been brilliantly thought through at every stage of the brand’s development
right though to its website.”

This latest accolade follows success
in the Design & Packaging category at the FAB awards. The Spirits
Business named No. 3 London Dry Gin the World’s Best Super Premium Gin
in 2010 and the same magazine awarded No. 3 its highest recommendation, that of Gin Master for
design and packaging.
